You can get this with home owners and renters insurance. Don’t get ripped off. I commented on Facebook, but they then made it so I couldn’t comment.
On 18 February I filed a claim they said I am all set. What a joke called repair shop they told me repair is 400.00 and upsie approved 250.00. Called upsie they said they would take care of it. On 28 February still not done they called me and said I have to bring the phone to repair shop and it would be approved right away. A week later still not approved 3 weeks now with a broken and no hope in site.

I wanted to speak with them before purchasing insurance, so I messaged them just through their website. To date, no one reverted. I had emailed on 18 May 2021.
Update 4-16-2021
After my first review a representative from Upsie reached out to me by phone. (I believe her name was Alicia) She apologized for my issue at hand, listened to my problem and made arrangements to have someone from Upsie speak to me directly to further fix my problem.
As promised, I received a call, was able to discuss my dilemma in depth and was given further info on what to do next. In short, I found out my Oculus is still under manufacturer warranty, and Oculus will handle the matter.
Today I received a follow up call, which I appreciated.
I was very upset at first, but Upsie did everything right...to make it right.
Thank you Upsie!

warranty company will not cover all accidents
this warranty company will not cover all accidental damage. I accidentaly stepped on my ipad when i dropped it on the floor when i was getting up to get it i stepped on the corner of the ipad on accident. they have every loophole to get out of covering you when you have a problem with your product. with all the favorable reviews i thought this would be a new company to cover all my new products. i guess this proves other wise. I should of knew that this would be like every other warranty company and not cover anything and take your money.
I bought 2 electronic warranties on different dates-I eventually canceled today after this...one was for my middle school son several months after my own one...I sent him the referral link and he used it but they wouldn't honor the referral so I called them because they had sent him emails too. That's where the beatdown and accusations began saying me and my son are the same people by David C. I allow my son access to Paypal and as the Tablet I bought him was a Christmas present he purchased it. Just because I allowed him access to my account doesn't make us the same people and when I told them via email it was for a friend, not my son David C. convoluted that was me-I didn't want to drag my son into as he's only 13 and btw we are friends too. David C. starting telling me about thousands who try to do multiple referrals to gain a monetary advantage and had already errantly grouped me into that category in tone and attitude even after I explained didn't want son involved if possible but he was very abrasive so I ended up canceling both my son's and my warranty after this as I am the customer and didn't appreciate the way this was handled and would rather have no extended warranty on my Cell Phone and his Tablet than to be told you're lying 3-4 times even after being told by David it would be taken care of in email in his initial response only to call me while I'm working and give me his suspicions and abrasive attitude and mentioned I was being unethical and lying…ugh!!! Good riddance and back to Squaretrade and will never use Upsie ("Upsy downsy" ) ever again!!!!!! Even the CEO responded to support his tribe no less but disagrees with what really happened like he was on the phone when I was insulted or in the email chain!
Hi Clarence,
Thanks for your response but you need to train your customer service esp. David C. not to accuse of fraud or judge customers superficially. I didn't have recourse after this as felt I couldn't work with a company like yours who would assume things like this on others whom like myself make a 6 figure income and have FICO beacon scores close to 900!

Just to reiterate: UPSIE is a marketing company that only sells warranties (That's all they do Located in MN) for Bankers Warranty Group / Centricity (Located in Florida) Centricity then sends products to PSR (Professional Satellite Repair) (Located in PA) to fix the product.
Item in question: Claim on an iPhone X liquid damage.
UPDATE: 3-19-21
At my choice (and not influenced by any others) I removed the long issue I previously wrote regarding: Upsie/Centricity/PSR.
After the final outcome of this, I will write a very detailed experience and my option of what other consumers should do regarding UPSIE Warranties.
Other Update 3-19-21 not confirmed yet but being told today by a Centricity staff member they are wanting to renege on the previous agreed settlement that they agreed to 3 times on a recorded line!
This Fiasco has been going on since December 23rd!
UPDATE 2-28-21 Multiple discussions between me, PSR and Centricity. I believe we may have a resolution finally, Centricity staff member stated they will offer a cash settlement and I will see a check in 7-10 business days, for the warranty amount. I will update when it is complete.
PS- Never heard yet from Upsie (see bottom)
I filed a claim on 12/6 and was contacted on 12/7 to confirm the claim and get the item shipped. I shipped my phone for repair on 12/7 but we were not able to deduct the $75 deductible at that time. I was told to follow up and see how to proceed forward.
I called back on 12/16 to check on the status of the device and the deductible. I was told that the deductible would be subtracted from the total value of the phone and I wouldn't have to worry about being in contact with PSR repair center.
I called Upsie on 12/22 to check on the status of the phone. I was told that there was no updates and they were now unsure about the deductible. It was too late in the day to contact PSR repair center to find determine an updated status as they were already closed for the day.
I called Upsie back today 12/23 and the representative spoke with PSR repair center. PSR was done with the repair and just waiting to be paid the deductible. I was then connected with PSR and they told me a couple things.
1. The phone was repaired and ready to ship on 12/21. They spoke with Upsie and Upsie told them to call me for the deductible.
2. They did call and leave a message with me but I haven't check my voicemail until now. That is on me BUT no one followed up on either side. If I wouldn't have followed up the past 2 days I wouldn't have been updated or contacted.
3. I paid them right now and they are sending the phone back. Thankfully they are doing the 2 day shipping.
4. The shipping was incorrect and Fedex wouldn't delivery my phone. I had to spend a whole day on the phone with the repair people and fedex only to be told I have to go pick it up in person myself.
5. I received my phone on 12/29 and Upsie didn't call me or talk to me until right now 12/30 @ 2:50pm pst just to ask if I received my phone. They didn't ask about anything else and was quick to get off the phone. Upsie reposned to one of my emails saying they were looking into it... but nothing until just now.
6. The phone is repaired and working.
I am very frustrated right now. I understand that due to shipping times this process could take a couple weeks vs the Fix and return in 5 days. 12/7 - 12/29 for my phone repair/return is way too long. Not only that but the communication and handling of the deductible and status of the phone was horrible. If I was given clear directions and guidance I could have take care of the payment weeks ago, or it could have been taken care of by Upsie like I was told it would.
In summary, 4+ weeks for the phone to be repaired/returned, I had to chase down any and all answers and only got a quick call to confirm I had the phone, nothing else in regards to what had happened. I was also given bad advice and no direction on how to proceed forward.
Your specialist were kind and easy to talk to, very good on the phone.
I wouldn't have any problems or frustrations if I had received clear communications and next steps and was kept up to date on the status. I do not know how to proceed forward from here, I feel conflicted about the service. I am about to get 2 new phones for my family but now I am not sure what I should do about my coverage, go to someone else or bite the bullet and hope for the best with Upsie.
I appreciate your input.

Upsie is a great platform for people tired of getting ripped off by other warranties. The customer service is great and the deductibles are better than expected. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a warranty on a new product to give them a try. You won’t regret it!
Great communication and super easy to get the warranty set up. Questions were answered quickly. Looking forward to getting future products covered by Upside as well.
Terrific organization! I am happy I decided to give an Upsie warranty a try. They made my claim process simple and straightforward. Appreciate Rose and the great customer service!

Must be a scan since they don't reimburse the accidental damage even though you have a valid warranty plan.
